Gary Hendrickson
Gary began coaching basketball 12 years ago after playing several years at all levels. He has always taught and believed that good fundamentals, teamwork, and overall hard work will help every player reach their potential.  Gary has coached several teams that have qualified for the National AAU tournament, and has coached two USSSA State Championship teams.  Gary was also a starter on the Municipal Gardens first-ever AAU National Championship team.

He owns a food business that covers three states and employs over 45 people.  He and his wife Kellie live in Greenwood and have four children - Austin (18); Marissa (16), Cassie (13) and Lexie (7.)

Tom Downard
My wife Deb and I are proud parents of Alex (10) and Abby (8).  I currently coach boys and girls travel basketball for Avon in the Indy Hoops and HGBL programs.  My 3rd grade girls’ group won both the fall and winter HGBL leagues this season and my boys’ Indy Hoops team is in the finals for the second year in a row.  I played four years of college basketball at Indiana Central University (University of Indianapolis) graduating in 1986.  I enjoy coaching the fundamentals of the game of basketball.

Brent Lockwood
Brent brings a wealth of experience, having been a coach for over 30 years in the United States including Hawaii and most recently the Mooresville Lady Extreme 6th Grade Basketball Team.  The Lady Extreme went undefeated and was the 2008 IGHL League and Tournament Champions.  Brent also added the 2008 Shamrock Classic Championship to his resume with the Indiana Blizzard.  He has developed many players in the sport of Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Soccer and Football during his coaching tenure, and looks forward to continuing to do so for the Indiana Blizzard.  When not coaching, Brent is a Program Executive for Dell and plays basketball and softball.  Brent is married to Jennifer and has 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

Jonathan Payne
Jon started coaching while in college. He was an assistant coach for 4 years with a boys AAU team from New Albany. He was also an assistant for the 2006 9U Blizzard team that finished 13th in the country. Jon has a wife, Stephanie, and a daughter, Victoria.
